Important Announcement Regarding Verizon Wireless Home Connect

Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect Is Not Compatible With Alarm Systems... As most of you know, home security systems typically communicate over a phone line. We have recently had some customers asking us about a new service from Verizon Wireless called Home Phone Connect. Home Phone Connect connects all of your existing home phones to a modem that communicates over Verizon's cellular network. We have done some research, and have determined that Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect is NOT COMPATIBLE with home alarm systems. According to the Verizon Wireless Website, Verizon Home Phone Connect is not compatible with the following: Home Security Systems Fax Machines DSL or Dial Up Internet DVR Services Medical Alert Services Credit Card Machines If you are an ASI customer that has switched or is considering switching to Verizon Home Phone Connect, please contact us immediately. Why Would You Use A Video-Enabled Alarm System?

The adage "you get what you pay for" is just as true when dealing with your security as anything else in life. The big difference is however, your life could easily hinge on the effectiveness of your security system. For decades alarm systems have been providing security for millions of homes and businesses. From year to year the features and benefits provided by alarm systems change rapidly. Systems can be installed that communicate using a cellular communicator and are powered totally with solar energy. Another technology feature that is available to consumers is video enhancement. Video can be integrated with your alarm system to perform a multitude of tasks. When the kids come home from school and disarm the alarm system you can see them on your computer at work or on your smartphone while you are at the mall.
