Premium Video Surveillance Solutions

When Standard Surveillance Systems Just Won't Do...

ASI's Premium Video Surveillance Solutions offer you flexible ways to keep an eye on your business. The face of surveillance is changing. No longer are expensive DVR's and NVR's required for a state of the art surveillance system. With services like remote video storage, video verification, and camera with a purpose ASI can protect your business like never before.

Video Verification
Say good bye to false alarm fines! With the aid of a 10-second video clip from your surveillance system when your alarm sounds, our monitoring station can immediately verify alarm events and make decisions about dispatching law enforcement. Now when the monitoring station receives a signal from your security system they also get a live view of the event causing the alarm. If it's a false alarm it will be disregarded.

Remote Video Storage
Safely and securely store your video in the cloud without the use of traditional DVR's or NVR's. This eliminates the risk of your surveillance system being useless when a DVR or NVR needs repaired. We help you determine the number of cameras, how long the video will be stored, how much video will be stored, as well as image size and number of frames per second. Video is transferred to and stored by our event monitoring center. Customers can access their video, playback events, and save them to a DVD or USB flash drive from a secure web-based viewer. Remote Video Storage is an ideal option for organizations that don't have or don't want to create the infrastructure to store surveillance video. It offers a migration path for new IP cameras and encoders. The addition of these technologies is no longer limited by the ability to store video. Now, customers need only invest in the camera and can leverage our hardware, software and services to do the rest.

Camera With A Purpose
In traditional installations, cameras send alerts to monitoring stations via multi-component networks – a camera detects activity and sends an alert to an alarm panel, which then sends notification to a monitoring station. In these typical installations, cameras act as passive devices used solely for monitoring and investigating, not for generating alerts. But what if those cameras could do more on their own? What if they could actively send alerts directly to a remote monitoring center without the aid of an alarm panel? Even better, what if the surveillance footage could be housed remotely at a certified disaster backup site?

How Camera With a Purpose Works -

During setup, ASI defines areas within a camera’s field of view in which the camera is to detect motion.
Upon programming, technicians may set up exclusion zones to ensure the camera monitors specified areas,
such as an entry door or a window, and ignores motion outside the defined area. These exclusion zones help to minimize false alerts. Technicians also set camera monitoring schedules to report activity at specified times, such as after-hours or after someone locks a gate. Whether a camera triggers an alert from motion detection or communication failure, the “camera with a purpose” reports the event directly to our monitoring center without requiring an alarm panel to serve as an intermediary. From the monitoring center, ASI operators can immediately pull up that camera’s feed to verify the nature of the alert. Based on the defined site and event protocols, we can then dispatch responders and send digital images to authorities and facility security managers. This remote authentication of a security breach meets the dual-verification requirements of many police jurisdictions, and also helps organizations avoid false alarms and their associated fines.
